Commentary:

A question for my pro Iraq war friends

    By Ron Beasley

I hear the following meme over and over again: losing in Iraq is not an option. I have a question, how much longer does it have to go on before we have to conclude that Cheney, Rumsfeld and all the other delusional incompetent neo-cons have screwed it up so bad that winning is no longer an option?

What Others Say
An American transplanted to France for the moment, Jack is sometimes conservative, sometimes liberal, and almost always right.

Jack has an impressive knowledge of history, politics, and Keanu Reeves. When it comes to pirates, Jack is waaay sexier than that pansy Dread Pirate Roberts. Oh, wait--I'm thinking of Jack Sparrow...

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
