Letters from Europe:
A photo from Prague
By Jack GrantI haven't yet written of my visit to Prague and the impressions it made upon me. I hope to do so soon.
Until then, enjoy this photo of the inside of the Saint Vitius Cathedral. I've discovered that the photos of cathedrals never capture the true open feeling that one has inside them, despite the massive amounts of stone surrounding the interiors.

As always, click for a larger photo. If you want an even larger version, email me.

Posted by Jack Grant at 19:17 on 13 June 2005Wow. I never made it to Prague and this picture makes me wish I had tried even harder to get there.
Posted by: vw bug at June 13, 2005 09:40 PMI lived in Prague for five years and was never able to get a really great picture of the inside of St. Vitus. But my best wasn't nearly as good as this one. Very nice composition.
Posted by: SWLiP at June 14, 2005 07:26 AMWow -what a great photo. It almost looks as if you were lying on your back to frame such a shot. I feel as if I'm right there - wish I could be! Thanks for sharing, Jack. I can't wait to read about your trip.
