G'morning, Jack. (It's 8 am here)

I have this thing for quotes… I collect them like some folks do antiques or trinkets to be displayed in glass cases. So here I was just tripping through Random Fate and saw your Quote of the Day... and I'm like, ah ha! A chance was presenting itself to make a comment! But try as I may, I could not find a good counter-quote save for one and now I have to present it with some degree of embarrassment because… well…

"Blessed is the man, who having nothing to say, abstains from giving wordy evidence of the fact."
- George Eliot

What Others Say
An American transplanted to France for the moment, Jack is sometimes conservative, sometimes liberal, and almost always right.
   -Pennywit

Jack has an impressive knowledge of history, politics, and Keanu Reeves. When it comes to pirates, Jack is waaay sexier than that pansy Dread Pirate Roberts. Oh, wait--I'm thinking of Jack Sparrow...
   -Jennifer (Jennifer's History and Stuff)

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
   -William Butler Yeats, January 1919

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
   -Dandemis

Wahabism Delenda Est
Wahabism must be destroyed.
