Who better to poke fun at than yourself?
By Jack GrantThis is why I like The Economist magazine. In an article discussing the patchwork of regulations on interstate alcohol sales and how they are affecting the small wineries in the United States, the last lines include this bit of humor:
Mr Lucas adds a broader historical perspective. “I blame this all on the English,” he tells The Economist. “You sent us a boatload of Pilgrims. Just think if the Mayflower had been full of Italians.”The Economist is based in London.
