John of Argghhh! has posted some questions I sent to him and his responses regarding the alleged prisoner abuse by US troops in an Iraqi prison. I have some very strong opinions regarding this issue, but I have not posted them because I didn't want to say without fully understanding the relevant regulations that the troops and officers involved should have behaved differently than is being alleged. Go read what John has to say to get some context on this issue, and be sure to thank him for taking the time to educate those of us who do not have direct experience with the regulations involved regarding unlawful orders.
