Observations on France:

OK, darn it...

    By Jack Grant

I worked very hard on this post, so go read it already...

Geez, just because I put it up on a three-day weekend, nobody sees it.

I was thinking I'd actually get some time to FINALLY catch up on my blog reading... Oh right, like that's gonna happen! My relatives showed up on very short notice (like one day!) and I spent the weekend entertaining them. It wouldn't have been so bad if I'd been expecting it - but it threw all my plans into the dumpster... Ah well, I'm reading your post now- I was waiting for updates on the pics. *G*

What Others Say
An American transplanted to France for the moment, Jack is sometimes conservative, sometimes liberal, and almost always right.

Jack has an impressive knowledge of history, politics, and Keanu Reeves. When it comes to pirates, Jack is waaay sexier than that pansy Dread Pirate Roberts. Oh, wait--I'm thinking of Jack Sparrow...

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
