The word “bitch” is used routinely in television shows now, often as a laugh line.
Not meaning to pull a Ferraro, but does this reflect something about our culture that we refuse to face honestly?
Do not confuse ‘duty’ with what other people expect of you; they are utterly different. Duty is a debt you owe to yourself to fulfill obligations you have assumed voluntarily. That IS an interesting point.
Also interesting that one of those words is thrown around like candy among members of the particular group involved, and the other (in my experience) generally is not….
