		<description>I believe one must separate the raison d'etre for going to war in Iraq from the execution (good or bad) of that war. There might be plenty of reasons for prosecuting the war while still finding fault with how it's been handled.

I recall the majority of Democrats calling for Saddam's head on a pike in 1998-1999, when he was Clinton's problem. I for one thought Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq was wrong. It should have been to surgically neuter Iran, the real threat.

But we're there now, and we must force the administration to fight this war effectively. But we don't have the belly. Mookie Sadr should be assassinated, for instance. We got into a war we don't have the guts to fight on the level of the enemy. We do better with high altitude airstrikes, like Kosovo.</description>
