A question regarding the funeral of Coretta Scott King

by Jack Grant

Many on the right-wing have complained about the political statements made at the funeral of Coretta Scott King, which raises a question in my mind:

When, exactly, since the so-called “debates” during the election (which were so controlled as to be laughable if they weren’t the sole forum for direct confrontation between opposing viewpoints), has President Bush had any opposition presented to him publicly in a forum that was NOT controlled by the White House?

Give the bubble around this particular President, what the Hell is the forum where opponents of his policies can convey their message directly?

I would appreciate it if you would think about the FULL implications of this and be completely honest with yourself before you jerk your knee and comment.

Thank you.
