What’s in a label?

I have been labeled “liberal,” “conservative,” and “centrist,” often all three in the same day, by those who aren’t willing to take the time to understand that few thinking people fall conveniently into the bins the ideologues use to force a complex world to fit within the confines of their limited mindset.

Over at Running Scared, Jazz has encountered similar behaviors and has decided to make it clear where he stands.

The next time you feel the urge to label a weblog based upon a single post or a quick scan of the blogroll, take a second look before you make a mistake.
