Soon he won’t be in Kansas any more

by Jack Grant

The author of TeaFizz, another fine blog that I have not linked to nearly as often as deserved, is soon to be deployed to Iraq. Unfortunately, it is a less than ideal situation since he is not familiar with his new unit.

Let it be noted he rejoined the military after the Iraq war started, so he knew and still knows well what he is going into. He had already “done his bit”…

Do the math.

More importantly, wish him well.

To win a war, you need the right strategy

by Jack Grant

The war against radical-Islamist fueled psychotics (I refuse to call it the War on Terror, that appellation is idiotic, you cannot wage a war against a tactic) can only be won by removing their support, the monetary and in-kind efforts along with the origins of the guidance systems, a.k.a. people, for the murder/suicide attacks - the bombings and other types of assaults.

How do we do strangle the sources of succor and sustenance of our enemies?

I’ll let the observations of a reluctant former Republican point to one way that is not being used very well at all by those who claim to be defending us.

A year of Bloggledygook

by Jack Grant

Daniel of Bloggledygook, one of the most rational bloggers out there, is celibrating his first year blogging with an interesting, biographical post.

If you don’t read his blog already, make this the first day of many that you do. Bloggledygook is under the “recommended reading” heading of my blogroll for a reason.
